What's this site for?

This site is a collection of things I'm interested in, providing a means for me to provide information, programming libraries, etc to others with similar interests.

Who is Chris Double?

A programmer working in Auckland, New Zealand. I've a personal interest in Computer Languages. I have various pages on Dylan, Common Lisp, Smalltalk and SmallScript. These pages aren't often updated now as I mostly update this sort of thing on my weblog bluishcoder (which is an anagram of my name). I have an older weblog that I posted to for a couple of years called Chris Double's Radio Weblog.

As well as this site I have websites for some of my other interests. I'm descended from three of the mutineers on the HMS Bounty, including Fletcher Christian. This lead me to start a Pitcairn News web site. On finding out my Pitcairn heritage I got interested in genealogy and started my genealogy website to write about that.

I like to tinker with gadgets and got interested in programming the Nintendo DS handheld game system. I have a number of tutorials for programming the DS as well as a DS development weblog. I used to maintain a Nintendo DS Emulator.

I work for Mozilla on the Firefox web browser.
